I pierced my other ear first one I stretched after a week going back 6 months ago, I have no problems with it just pain was bad the first time i did it, the stretcher i use at the start is so small and im talking tiny, I just put it in and hurt a bit, is it bad to do it tho?

I get random surges of pain in the back right part of my head and back of my neck?

This has been happening since the seventh grade. I would be fine one minute, then I would turn my head and I would have a burst of pain shoot up from the base of my neck up to the back right section of my head. I wouldn't be able to move and barely talk for a good 10 seconds after it happened. In the seventh grade, they would happen at least every other day. They went away for a while and I forgot about them for a few years, then they started coming back recently. They aren't as common as they used to be, but it's enough for me and my mom to notice. I have a 1991 subaru legacy which dies our after i start it?

the computer tell me that its the surge selenoid from the gas tank so I put it direct and it worked fine for five minutes and then it started dying out on me again. when the engine is in low idle it will stop but if I press the gas pedal to the bottom it will reb up to 5000 rpm without a miss if I keep it between 3000 and 5000 rpms it will run without a miss otherwise the engine stops. But sometimes I start it and it will run without any misses and after a will it will start missing and the engine stops. This car has a plug in the cumputer for checking the engine codes. When I connect the plug and turn the key to on position the cooling fan on the radiator starts to go on and off, and the relays will start to click on and off, also the gas pump will turn on and off. It's as if I was tuning the key to the on and off position over and over again. I did test the purge selenoid by connecting a test lamp to the battery and no current goes thru it.. my next step is to bring a computer and plug it to the car ecm to see if it will give me another code. anybody got any ideas as to what it could be.

Freightliner/Cummins tech needed. Where is the lift pump and could it be my problem?

I have a 2006 Freightliner MT45 with a Cummins 5.9 in it. My problem first presented itself as a surging condition, during acceleration, that would go away if I shut the truck off and restarted it. Yesterday the surging got really bad, and now the truck will start and idle, then stall. I replaced the fuel filter and strainer... both were badly clogged with debris. The problem is still present. So far everyone I talk to says it could be the lift pump. Is the lift pump located in the tank? Is there a simple way to diagnose it? Does this sound like my problem?

So I'm going to get my ears pierced for the first time & I have a couple of questions. Where can i get my ears pierced and how much will it cost? I already bought 14g Tapers "Ear Plug Gauge Expander Stretcher" online so Now all i need is a place to pierce them. Also, whats the main difference between piercing and gauging? Stretcher is stuck in my ear! HELP PLEASE!?

I put in a 3mm stretcher a few days ago, it was ok at first. Then it got very sore and started bleeding and I thought it might just be healing. It started feeling worse so I tried to take it out, I took the front band out but when I looked for the band round the back..it was gone. I think I can feel it inside my ear lobe, but I can't push or pull the stretcher. If I do, it hurts ALOT. But it still doesn't budge...how do I get it out of my ear!? And how do I get this rubber band out of my ear? Thanks

Do i need urgent medical attention?

Right okay, Its probably not urgent but here it goes.. During the last year i have been diagnosed with anxiety, i'm on 3 different types of medication: Mirtazapine, diazepam and propranolol. This combo has worked over recent times and i find it a good combination to help me through times. The propranolol has been for my fast heart rate and like 99% works a treat, but for about 4 days now i have had an extremely tight chest, my heart rate seems to be fluctuating between 130-170 bpm; to me this resembles a normal but not quite frequent panic attack.. but the scare came when i just took my dose of propranolol and diazepam and about 20 minutes later my right eye lost vision and my body felt numb, like completly numb i got such a surge of adrenaline i hoped out of my chair and and fell straight to the floor, heart racing and a hallucination so scary i seriously cant take this medication again. making my way to the phone to dial 999 i heard a voice in my head screaming not to phone its a waste of time, and no matter how i try i seriously cant do it and when someone asks if i'm okay i cant help but say im fine when quite clearly i'm in so much panic. I am training and doing a university degree in psychology and never have i crossed something like this since studying. it has all the symptoms of a panic attack, but ive experienced panic attack so bad ive passed out and so forth, so this seems much different. Typing this im calming down again but i feel it will happen again. is this something to be concerned about? P.S i also studied medicine for about 6 months, and the likely candidate for this could be a paradoxal effect of the diazepam/mirtazapine. but i cant help still imagining it happening again.

1 year ago my dog had kidney failure couldn't stand, losing weight and wouldn't eat. The final day I had her June 17 2010 I was in my room watching tv then I heard my mom scream. Whenever I get nervous, excited or apprehensive i.e waiting for something to happen I get this massive surge of Adrenalin throughout my body which makes me fill ill for days and effects my legs. Small things can set it off like a Train and it's fifficult to stop the Adranalin pumping around my body and effecting my muscles. How do I stop it? It can make me feel tired and weak for days. Almost completely enlisted, AIMS test is my final obstacle?

I really want to enlist. Ive been trying for a while. Having difficulties because i have a ged and no college credits. (cant get into college right now because i only have 9 months in my new city and i have to be 12 months to be considered resident and i cant move back to my old city). i took the asvab got a 60. i also took the physical at MEPS and passed. normally next step would be swear in etc. and get your ship date for BCT. Unfortunately (i think its new) ged applicants now also require to pass a AIMS test. Its some type of personality/morality test. i tanked it because supposedly i had answered the way i thought they would want me to answer instead of just answering truthfully. That there is no right or wrong answers they just all have to match. Its very tricky most people dont know what it is and the few stuff ive found online on it its other people who also failed it. What can i say i know the military can choose to be picky right now with numbers because of the recession. I guess this is one way of doing it. My recruiter already had active duty ready for me (they only had reserve available but i wanted active) and we found out i failed last moment right before i was suppose to see my counselor. i was so dissappointed. He said i would have to wait 6 months to retake the AIMS but that he'd try to get a waiver ASAP. That was like a day after and it got denied cus not even a week passed by im guessing. He doesnt answer my phonecalls anymore. so im asking here on yahoo. Its been 5 months. can i get a waiver? am i close enough to be able to retake it since im only a month away? can i switch recruiters ?

You can start getting plugs from a 16 g but remember to go by each size... I gauged my ear from a 0 to a 1/2 inch and completely blew my ear our. It wasn't pretty... So def... I think ears are pierced at a 18 or a 16... Either way you can probably start with a 14, then 12, 10, 8, etc. Until you get to the side you desire. Also... I'd recommend cleaning your ears with bactine until they heal each time you gauge. Ive used that for all of my piercings and it worked alot better than anything else. AND FINALLY if possible buy your gauges online... If you go to hot topic or whatever they charge like 20 bucks a pair... Many places online charge a few bucks depending on the material. Any useful tips when stretching your ears?

Well, my only tips would be to make sure you don't go too fast, and make sure you don't keep acrylic in for long. I stretched mine once with acrylic. Acrylic is porous so you can't clean all the sebum that collects on it, out of it, which is disgusting, to be honest. I prefer stainless steel overall. Stainless steel has been perfect for stretching and I've never had any issues with it. Just buy some stainless steel tapers and plugs, and use those.

Ive got my nose pierced had it done with a gun was fine. I have had all my other piecing done with a needle and although people say its safer it hurts a lot more. Just make sure you keep it clean and your be fine :)

I think that you should get one anyway! its your life and he shouldn't have control over your body, he should love you for you and not because of what you wear or anything. Just because he doesn't like it doesn't mean you shouldn't either... An advantage you could say to him is it gives you confidence, and you feel good when you have it... just like makeup for most girls, its something that helps boost our confidence everyday, even though there is no need for it for young girls we still wear it because it makes us feel some bit better about our insecurities. I think you should just tell your boyfriend that its something that you want and he shouldn't judge you over it. like if he likes something like sports or xbox or anything you don't like him doing... you don't force him to get rid of it ? so why should he. The next dream starts off with me on the phone with my mother who is in the hospital. I ask her what floor she's on and she says she doesn't know. Some type of way I end up on the top of the hospital and I'm falling down. I look up and see my father (who is deceased) and a random lady falling also. Me and my father land on our feet back the lady falls on her back. I start screaming for a crash cart and a stretcher and some type of way we aren't outside anymore we're in the er. People are running everywhere and its mass chaos and there's two prisoners taking needles outta the sharps box and sticking people. One sticks me and said your exposed and then he sticks a little asian boy. I grab the boy's hand and run to a steel enforced room. I room has my children in there. The little boy disappears. Now the man chasing me turns inside a woman and she is trying to get in. I can see her but she can't see me. She starts pushing my babies' toys under the door saying I'm a bad mother because I'm letting her do this and I should just open the door and let her stick them since I was already stuck. I am just learning a little about OPK. From what I read on fertilityfriend, "typically" you ovulate the day after your surge/positive OPK even though I know it can last from 12-36 hours. As long as you are taking your time and letting them heal for 2-3 weeks between sizes you should be fine. I would recommend not skipping sizes so you should have gone from 2mm to 2.6mm to 3mm but what's done is done. Most people say your ears will heal back to normal all the way up to 8mm as long as you take your time

Here's the deal. I have an eMachines desktop that I haven't had any problems with up until recently. I noticed that it won't power on at all now. I've researched a little and I'm guessing that the power supply is shot. Here's something to add to the equation. I pulled out my older Dell to use in the mean time and it started to power up and when I come back to it, the amber light is blinking on the power button. I got my braces last month, and I was supposed to have my first wire tightening appointment this week, but they moved it to next week because my dental hygienist is going on maternity leave, and they need a few days to train another hygienist to tighten my braces and change my bands. Why has the oven (both bake and broil) on my electric range oven stopped working?

This is the second time this has happened this year! The first time it happened we simply replaced our older appliance with a slightly newer, used one. This one is a GE and has no clock or any self-cleaning controls. It just has the 4 range/burner controls with a single oven control in the middle, which controls both oven temperature and broil. Neither the broil nor baking features work at all, and the indicator light does not come on when I turn on the oven. The range seems to be working fine, however. What's the problem? And why has it happened more than once so recently? We live in a very old house, and I'm concerned about the old wiring. Could there be surges or failures causing this?

Would two Surge protectors be better to protect my phone line?

my computer and electronics are plugged into two surge protectors under my desk, one for the computer and one for the networking so that way neither strip has a ton of stuff on it. One of the protectors my phone line is plugged into it and the other is just a regular surge protector. I live in an area where we can get some pretty wicked lightning and the phone lines get hit a lot, so I was thinking maybe I should replace my second surge protector with another one that has the phone line protection and then have the phone line protected on two surge protectors rather than one, so then there is a much better chance nothing will get hit. Will this work like planned or is it possible the two protectors may slow down the signals or something? I think it looks worse than it really is. If you stretched your lips with your own fingers, and then held it there for a while and then let go, your lips are obviously going to be a bit dry and uncomfortable, but crack? Like your lips CRACKING apart? Haha, no, but they can crack a little bit, but I doubt it will bleed. The best thing to do is wear a little lip balm so your lips are not dry beforehand. It doesn't hurt either, it's not like a needle or whatever.

My cat has been electrocuted..what do I do?

I have reasons to believe my cat may have triggered a surge in my power strip. now most of the things on the power strip were off. But I left earlier that day and she was fine. It stared with us all in the hospital and one of my friend Emma trying to give my a needle to make me stupid. I run through the hospital. First through the emergency ward thinking I can't get out and looking for a elevator. I get out off the ER and run towards the door but a man is standing there with a gun so I run some more into the maternity ward and go into a room ( I don't think a family was inside but I'm not sure) then I see a bathroom there is nurse in there but she doesn't get out because she has to operate some machinery. And the I pee and talk to here about this medicine that makes us change. After I get out I somehow end up in a gymnasium where they have a trap set for me. Chairs are piled on one side with tons of giant Oreos. The wall was on the other side so I would have to run to the other side where my friend Mackey stood.she then releases the pigs out of the pen with a pull of a string. The pigs then start running towers the Oreos that are between the and the chairs. I quickly jump over the chairs and run. Mackey them gets bitten by a pig and turn into a pig. Then the pigs start chasing after everyone in the room and keeps running. One pig bite me at first but it wasn't deep enough so I through it on the ground and kept doing that. Only a few people were left and a pig bit me a little harder than the rest so I through �it on the ground extra hard. Then Mackey came behind me and bite me and turn me into a pig. Soon enough we all become human again. Some people were not moving and had to be carried out in stretchers. Best foundation to use for acne + continuous acne problems?!?

at the moment I've been using acne solutions foundation from clinique. i went to this foundation after nothing but clogged pores from covergirl. i usually only have acne on my chin so i was hoping that clinique would help. at night i wash first with a neutrogena pore cleanser, then with a neutrogena green scrub, then st. ives blackhead fighter, then clinique's acne solution. i also have a solution from the dermatologist which i put on my acne spots every night. I've had acne since 6th grade... in the same spot. you can see frustration here. I also don't wash my face in the morning, don't get mad i'll explain in a minute. I clean off the solution from the dermatologist with a washcloth with water, then put on cliniques moisture surge. i also have dry skin in the morning and by the end of the day it is very oily. the reason i don't wash my face in the morning is because if i have a few zits on my chin, when i wash my face it will somewhat pop the zit and foundation over a newly popped zit is not good. plus the zit continues to still push out all the stuff in it. acne ruins my life and after a number of visits to the dermatologist, nothing works. i used plastic when i was stretching, and i used tapers(spikes) to stretch, but when i got to my size which is 10mm i have a metal tunnel in and i have had no problems. metal should be good too but i would never use wood, i used a metal to stretch my belly butten piercing because i couldn't fit a bar in:) <-don't try that, it's painfull:) hope that helps xx

Onkyo TX-NR708 problem?

I have had this receiver for since it came out and it has worked fine until today. I don't know why but when the power went out the HDMI ins stopped working. The only thing I can get from the HDMI is the setup menu for the receiver, and a blue screen from the receiver that means there is no signal. Like all of my expensive things, it is connected to a surge protector and my tv works fine and my cable box shows the time and I can change the channels so, that might rule out a blowout. I am pretty good at solving problems by myself, but this is really annoying. I was really hoping that I don't have to send it back and that means being without a receiver for two weeks or more. That seems like what I have to do unless I missed something.

Rotator Cuff Tear 10 points?

My Grandfather got a surgery on his knee in somewhere around June 2010 and after the surgery he got a rotator cuff tear, his arm was fine at the check-up right before the surgery. Also after the surgery there were huge and many (and I cannot emphasis on huge) bruises on his back which were not visible before so they must've dropped him. We concluded that the nurses must have pulled hard on his arm (he weighs near 300 and is 6'0) and dropped him while moving him from a stretcher after his surgery.I believe he did not sign anything regarding that its not the surgeon's fault if anything went wrong. We contacted a lawyer and she said something can be done and his family doctor is also saying that something went wrong. How much do you think will we be able to sue them for? My LMP was May 23 and my cycles range from 28(rare)-37(rare) days long with most of my cycles being about 33-35 days. My hubby and I did our little baby dance every day to every other during the week of June 6th-14th which should have been prime ovulating time. We were on vacation and in the ocean/pool every day all day so I didn't notice any stretchy/sticky cm but I do get it every single month! I do not temp. but I did use ovulation sticks and would get two lines but the test was never as dark as the control so either I missed my surge, my urine was too dilute or I didn't ovulate(which I doubt). I forget the exact date but around the 17th of this month I felt a sharp pinch on my right side and I was thinking ovulation or implantation. I took another OPK and got two lines again with the test still lighter than the control. Since then I have had cramping(especially on right side), alternating diarrhea and constipation, tiredness, increased urination, and still no period but the real kicker is my boob KILL! My boobs never hurt before my period but they kill on the sides, nipple is itchy and they feel fuller. Today is day 36 and still no period. I took a first response early pregnancy test this evening and it was negative. I will re-test in a couple days which feels like forever. I honestly feel pregnant. I just got a lip piercing, and I have a few questions.?

Okay, first of all please don't call me stupid of idiotic for piercing my lips. I used gloves, and a hollow sterile needle. After I pierced my lips, I couldn't see to get the ring in. Right now, the jewelry is inside the hole, but it doesn't come outside.. As if I pierced it half way. But the problem is, when I pierced it, I just put the needle through to the point where it was sticking out just a bit. And then I waited about 5 minutes before putting the ring in..But it went through the inside, but it doesn't come out the outside. Please help! How can I make the hole on the outside open, without using a needle, so it won't hurt? I asked the ladies at where I bought my lips rings, and they said I could use a 14 gauge for your ear, the little stretchers, and push it through the inside of my mouth, so the skin would reopen.. But I'm wondering if that's safe? PLEASE help!

Next time I will only test in the afternoon and not in the morning because I have learned that the ovulation tests are not like pregnancy test in the way that you need to test in the morning. Do I have nerve damage in my foot?

It went in with a bit of difficulty, but it didn't hurt at all. But it bled, a lot. When I first put my 3mm in, my ear bled a lot to. Friend going to get sued? car accident?

How much trouble? Car accident? longish? Last night my friend and I *she was driving* were involved in a car accident. She was driving back from her friends house down by the beach (unfamiliar area to us since she lives about two hours away) around 2:30 am. As she was driving down this road, within speed limit when we saw a cop car light up behind us, they ended up pulling the car behind us over not us but I guess because my friend was so nervous we missed a stop sign coming over this crossroad. She ended up getting swiped on her back right tire by a car coming across. Scary ****. Anyway we ended up spinning out and she was freaking out crying. Her right tire rim is shot and there is a pretty nice dent but no other damage. Likewise the other drivers car suffered a crushed headlight on the right side and a dent and scratches localized to that area. We called the cops and the other driver and passenger seemed unharmed but the driver was pretty pissed understandably. When the cops got there he started screaming that we were speeding going like 60 (we were only going 35) and that he was disabled and in pain. They ended up taking him to the hospital in a stretcher. My friend talked to the cops but was pretty hysterical the whole time. She told them that she missed the sign and all that. But now I am really worried what is going to happen to her and this whole situation. I know she is at fault for missing the stop sign and she is really cut up about it. She has no idea what to do, or whats going to happen to her. The cops said they are sending her tickets in the mail but I am really worried that the other driver is gonna sue her for all shes worth, which is basically nothing, she is only 19 and has about 50 dollars in the bank atm. So I wanted to maybe get some insight on this situation, from someone who knows what is likely ahead or been in this situation before. 1. What are the chances this guy sues? And how much could he walk away with if the insurance company refuses to settle (for damage to car or his medical bills if he does end up being hurt) 2. What are the chances that her insurance (GEICO) doesnt cover any or all or how much they will cover? Any suggestions or advice is appreciated. Thank you.
