I stretched my ears 3 months ago now there bruised?

I stretched my ears to a 0g and that as 3 months ago but i just got new stretchers (sane size) they are plastic but i have never had problems with plastic stretchers before,ive been stretching my ears properly and i don't know what is wrong. My holes look red and bruised whats wrong?!
